Happy New Year!!!  Skye has blessed us with five beautiful puppies which started storming the world in Cattle Dog fashion at about 3:30 A.M. With five in total (three girls and two boys) we will be busy for quite awhile!

12/16/2006  Tonka made quite a debut on his first outing with his very favorite handler Mrs. Connie Sager.  Today he took Winners Dog in Orlando at the age of six months and eight days!  Big things are yet to come with this fine young dog.

12/10/06  Tailwynd's very own "Tailwynd's Shock'n Ya'll" AKA Tonka, expertly handled by Connie Sager,  went Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed today at the Greater Miami Dog Show.  Tonka was six months and two days today!!!

12/09/06  On Saturday at the Greater Miami Dog Show, Chase, AKA Hiredhand's Chas'n A Tailwynd went Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best of Breed and took a Puppy Group 3!!!  Judge Edward McNamee had great things to say about this young dog.  Thank you Judge McNamee for your wonderful comments!

12/07/06  This weekend is the Greater Miami Dog Show.  This will be the debut for two of our new and upcoming stars.  Tonka and Chase will be struting their stuff in the ring.  From Miami, Tonka will be leaving with the premier handler Ms. Connie Sager to compete in the Orlando circuit the following weekend.  We are looking forward to a big showing for both of these boys!

11/09/06  Today was a scary day for us with Jack.  He was really sick this morning which prompted an emergency trip to the vet's office.  After a day of testing it was found that Jack's prostate is severly enlarged, has irregular texture and is currently bleeding.  We were given the choice of trying to treat whatever was causing the problem with no guarantees or neutering him and greatly increasing the risk of a full recovery.  The choice was obvious, Jack is a intiricate part of our family and his health and welfare are far more important than his future stud dog career.  We have our fingers crossed that Skye took when we bred her to Jack because this will be Jack's final litter!  Jack has to go through some intense antibiotic treatment to reduce the infection and will be scheduled for a neuter during the week of November 20th.
